Notes: In 2003, two men filed a lawsuit alleging that Fr. William Valverde had exposed them and others to “alcohol, drugs, cigarettes and deviant sex” while they were minors at St. Ann in Needles, California. The Diocese of San Diego settled the lawsuit in 2008. According to the Diocese of San Diego, Fr. Valverde was sentenced to a life prayer and penance in 2010. Fr. Valverde was included in the Diocese of San Diego’s list of priests where the Diocese has received a credible allegation involving sexual abuse of a minor. His current whereabouts and whether he has access to children are unknown.
