Notes: Fr. Richard Garcia has been accused by at least one person of child sexual abuse occurring in approximately 1961 to 1963 when Fr. Garcia worked at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Northridge. It is believed that he left the priesthood in 1967. Fr. Garcia was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ list of priests accused of sexual misconduct involving minors. It is believed Fr. Garcia may have died in approximately 2008. For approximately 40 years after he left the priesthood, Fr. Garcia’s whereabouts and whether he had access to children are unknown.
