Notes: Notes: Fr. Michael Victor Marron was ordained as a priest for the Diocese of Clogher in Ireland and came to work in the United States in 1961. A 1963 letter from Fr. Marron’s personnel file states that there were a number of complaints from parents that Fr. Marron was overly friendly with their children, especially their daughters. As a result, Fr. Michael Victor Marron was asked to leave the Diocese of San Diego. Fr. Marron was included in the Diocese of San Diego’s list of priests where the Diocese has received a credible allegation involving sexual abuse of a minor. According to the Diocese of San Diego, Fr. Marron left the Diocese in 1963. He is believed to have died in 1979. His whereabouts, status as a priest, and whether he had access to children from approximately 1963 until his death in 1979 are unknown.
