Notes: Fr. Joseph James, C.M.I. is a Carmelite of Mary Immaculate priest. According to the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, at least one survivor has come forward alleging child sexual abuse by Fr. James, in approximately 1958. Fr. James was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ list of priests accused of sexual misconduct involving minors. Fr. James’ current status as a priest, his whereabouts, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
