Notes: Fr. Eugene Maio is a Jesuit priest. He was named in a civil lawsuit, which alleged that he sexually abused a student at Marymount High School in Los Angeles. At the time, Fr. Maio, was on the faculty at the Jesuits’ Loyola University. It is believed that he may have been laicized in 1970 or 1971, and was reportedly living in Akron, Ohio in approximately 2003. Fr. Maio was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ list of priests accused of sexual misconduct involving minors. As of 2010, Fr. Maio was believed to be living in Signal Mountain, Tennessee. Fr. Maio’s status as a priest, current whereabouts, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
