Notes: Fr. Edward J. Casey is a priest of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Mary and Jesus. Fr. Casey has been accused of sexually abusing at least three children between approximately 1974 and 1979 while working at Damien Boys High School in LaVerne. In 2002, an alleged survivor wrote to Archbishop Mahony that he had been sexually abused by Fr. Casey while he was a student at Damien High School. Fr. Casey has been named in at least one civil lawsuit. He was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ list of priests accused of sexual misconduct involving minors. Fr. Casey’s current whereabouts, his status as a priest, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
