Notes: Fr. David LaPierre was ordained a Caphuchin priest. He has been accused of sexually abusing at least one child. A civil lawsuit alleged that Fr. LaPierre sexually abused a child in approximately 1983 to 1984 at St. Francis High School in La Canada, California. Fr. LaPierre was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ “Report to the People of God: Clergy Sexual Abuse Archdiocese of Los Angeles” in the section, “Religious Order Priests and Brothers.” As of 2016, Fr. LaPierre was believed to be living in Cottonwood, California. Fr. LaPierre’s status as a priest, current whereabouts, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
