Notes: Fr. Vincent O’Connell is an Irish priest ordained a priest of the Society of Mary. He reportedly work briefly at St. Anthony of Padua in Fresno, California, before returning to Ireland. In 2003, after reading a magazine story on priest sexual abuse, a survivor came forward to accuse Fr. O’Connell of child sexual abuse in 1970 while he was working at St. Anthony of Padua in Fresno, California. The female survivor reported the child sexual abuse to a parish deacon and parish priest in her local diocese. After no action was taken, she filed a lawsuit against the Archdiocese of San Francisco. Fr. O’Connell’s current status as a priest, his whereabouts, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
