Notes: Fr. Maurice Scheier was a member of the Franciscan religious order. Fr. Scheier has been accused by at least one person of child sexual abuse; the alleged abuse occurred in approximately 1948. Fr. Scheier was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ list of priests accused of sexual misconduct involving minors. It is believed Fr. Scheier may have died in approximately 1991.
