Br. Matteo (Mateo) Guerrero, O.F.M.

Notes: Br. Mateo Guerrero was a member of the Franciscan Friars who was accused of child sexual abuse which occurred in the 1970s, 1990s, and 2000s. Br. Guerrero was named in a 2008 civil lawsuit filed against the Franciscan Friars, Old Mission Santa Barbara. In 2010, it is believed Br. Guerrero was living in San Juan Bautista, CA. Br. Guerrero’s status as a priest, his current whereabouts, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
