Notes: Originally from Mexico, Fr. Gaspar Bautista was reportedly incardinated into the Diocese of Fresno in 2004. In 2016, Fr. Bautista was placed on leave from the Diocese of Fresno after the Archdiocese of Los Angeles purportedly alerted the Diocese of Fresno that Fr. Bautista allegedly engaged in inappropriate behavior with a child while working in Los Angeles. The details of this alleged inappropriate behavior are unknown. Fr. Bautista was included on the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ 2018 update to the “Report to the People of God List of Priests Accused of Sexual Misconduct with Minors” in the section, “Allegations Involving “Extern” Priests” where they report that the “Year(s) of Alleged Incident(s)” were in 1999 or 2000. Fr. Bautista’s status as a priest, current whereabouts, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
