Notes: According to the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, at least one survivor has come forward alleging child sexual abuse by Fr. Sylvio Lacar from approximately 1978 to 1984. Fr. Lacar was named in at least one civil suit, filed in 1984. He was an extern priest visiting from the Philippines who worked briefly in the Archdiocese. Fr. Lacar was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ list of priests accused of sexual misconduct involving minors. As of 2017, Fr. Lacar was believed to be an active priest residing in Canada. Fr. Lacar’s status as a priest, current whereabouts, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
