Notes: Br. Gerald Chumik was a member of the Franciscan religious order. Br. Chumik has been accused of forcing a boy to perform oral sex in approximately the 1970s in Canada. In 1990, criminal charges were filed against Br. Chumik. In 2004, Br. Chumik was living in a religious complex in Santa Barbara, California. Br. Chumik attended sex offender therapy for years. In 2005, it is believed that Br. Chumik was living at Wounded Brothers, or RECON, a home for troubled priests, in Franklin County, Missouri. Br. Chumik’s current whereabouts, his clerical status, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
